When we arrived in Pigeon Forge the thought was to stay a couple days and see Dollywood. Very quickly a couple days became a week and a week became two weeks. Dollywood was so much fun and entertaining that our one day tickets were traded for season passes,as we realized we still hadn't done or seen it all. On top of that were the other discoveries we made in Pigeon Forge like the Dixie Stampede and the Great Smoky Mountains Natl. Park just to name two. We did move on after two weeks, but still feel like we need to go back to see more! Pigeon Forge is a very friendly, beautiful, warm, wonderful place.

Mike Terry's RV Travel Adventures

Mike Terry Plus

I will use this channel to chronicle my RV travel adventures. I retired from my job as a School Communications Technician with the Hampton Bays School District the end of August 2011. My plan is to travel and see all the sights of the USA.

5/13/12 Saw the Grand Ole Opry and took a Greyline Tour of Nashville that included the Ryman Auditorium and Country Music Hall of Fame. Took very little video, because it wasn't allowed in many places. Perhaps I can make a video slide show. Heard a lot of excellent country music, and learned a little too!

Heads up: the shoutbox will be retiring soon. It’s tired of working, and can’t wait to relax. You can still send a message to the channel owner, though!
