A nineteen-year-old dances on aerial fabrics suspended in the air while an 86-year-old grandmother waits in her bedroom with only dementia to keep her company. A group of 21 year-old girls explores the underground drainage system while a middle-aged woman makes pottery for her ailing mother.
Mainstream media depict women as little more than beautiful, sexual, fragile creatures. This experimental documentary challenges that by following four powerful women, ranging in age from 19 to 86, as they embrace personal notions of femininity in everyday life.
