On our last day in Kruger we had an amazing sunrise with giraffes followed by a relaxing 45 minutes with a pride of lions lounging around after a night of hunting. A pair of lilac-breasted rollers showed off their courting rituals, and we sat with a baby zebra at sunset.
During dry season water holes are famous for attracting a wide range or thirsty wildlife. At this pond in Kruger National Park at the onset of wet season a large variety of wildlife congregates one pleasant afternoon.
Not every day in Kruger is filled with large predators chasing prey, but on a good full day with cooperative weather you can see quite a bit. In the video in order of appearance, in hyaena, pygmy owl, hornbill, frankolin, warthog, leopard, baboon, impala, tortoise, saddle-billed stork, kudu, cape buffalo,elephant, giraffe, zebra, bustard, ostrich, hippo, stork, souther ground hornbill, and vulture.
