DANCE! The NELKEN-Line

    During the evening, with the help of our wedding witnesses, we invited all guests to learn the Nelken-Line. After a short learning we performed it all together to our delight!

The Nelken-Line created a colourful and poetic link beetween Prato's past and the present, passing through some of the city's most representative sites: the Metastasio Theatre (XIX Century), the industrial archeological site of the Lazzerini Public Library and Textile Museum, the Medieval Castle of Federico II, Pretorio Palace (XIII century), S. Maria delle Carceri Church (XV century) and the Centre for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci. The call for participants was open to all citizens of the city.

    The project was organised by The Loom - Movement Factory in collaboration with the principal cultural institutions of Prato: Municipality of Prato, Metastasio Theatre, Lazzerini Public Library, Textile Museum, Centre for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci.

  3. Our video was shot during a vintage fashion show realised by "Cooperativa sociale Insieme" of Vicenza, in collaboration with Voll, a center for contemporary art in town.

  4. 29 April 2018 - Bolzano celebrated the International Dance Day by performing the NELKEN-Line throughout the most iconic venues of the small city situated in the middle of the Alps where German, Italian and other cultures meet and live together. A collaboration by Circuito Danza Trentino - Alto Adige/Südtirol (CSC S. Chiara di Trento), Tanz Bozen (Fondazione Haydn) and Festival Alps Move – Südtiroler Tanzkooperative.

  5. 17 June 2018 - Bergamo (Italy)
    Festival Danza Estate chose to honor Pina Bausch by bringing The Nelken-Line in the beautiful Bergamo's high city. Festival involved more than 80 people of all ages from all over the territory.
