A brief introductory slideshow to some of my time in New Zealand, not including any of my hiking video footage. It chronicles various experiences in Auckland City, as well as some short trips to Waiheke Island, Rangitoto, and the Waitakeres, amid other photos from around the country. Set to super-sad, epic music. Enjoy.
The chronicles of two hiking trips I took with the Auckland University Tramping Club.
First to the Omanawanui Skyline and Whatipu caves in the Waitakeres, where I first met many of the members.
Flash forward several months, and I was then leading my own trip to the Pinnacles on Coromandel.

On this Lonely Island, two travelers traverse the Cook Strait in a daring, death-defying attempt to reach the wondrous South Island of New Zealand. The Song is indeed "I'm on a Boat" by The Lonely Island and they own all copyright privileges.
