1. Piccolo is a pocket-sized stand-alone CNC platform. For less than $70, you can assemble your personal Arduino-compatible kit for tinkering, developing and deploying basic 3D output. Be it plotting quick graffiti, printing a one-off business card on the fly, or multiple Piccolos working together to create a large mural, this kit provides a platform for experimenting with 2D or 3D digital fabrication at a small scale. This open-source design emphasizes simplicity, and is entirely composed of digitally manufactured components and inexpensive off-the-shelf hardware.

  3. Have you always wanted to understand 3D printing? Well...we've thought about that and have made an animation showing you how 3D printing works.

There are actually several 3D printing technologies and this animation shows you the Selective Laser Sintering process from start to finish. With Selective Laser Sintering a fine powder is laid down. The laser then hardens the powder that will become the very bottom layer of your object. The rest of the powder remains in powder form. A new layer of powder is applied and the process repeats itself. Your model is then lifted out from all the loose powder and cleaned.

  4. Introducing the Mcor IRIS, the worlds first high resolution full 3D color 3D Printer.
The Mcor IRIS joins Mcor’s family of paper 3D printers and the vision of producing high quality, low cost and eco-friendly 3D prints.

Now Mcor is taking their technology to the next level with a full color 3D printer using regular letter paper and specially developed Mcor inks.

The Mcor IRIS produces sharp vibrant prints; printing on to a pure white media produces better color authenticity and reproduction when compared with other color 3D technologies. The Iris prints photo-realistic 3D parts with the resolution you would expect from a high quality 2D color printer

The IRIS will open up a world of opportunity to engineering, education, AEC, GIS and entertainment. “Now full color 3D printing will be accessible to everyone with full 3D color needs”, said Dr MacCormack.
