The Virtual Dinner Guest Project: Gaza-Rotterdam 2018

In October of 2017, OpenRoadsMedia.org facilitated the Virtual Dinner Guest Project between participants in The Netherlands and the Gaza Strip, Palestine. After sharing a meal and questions over a videoconference call, participants on both sides exchanged a final set of questions to be taken to the streets of their respective communities. This film is the answer that residents of Rotterdam gave to the question posed from Gaza:

What's the Biggest Problem in the World... and how would you solve it?

+ More

At Open Roads Media Foundation our work focuses on Conflict Transformation, Intercultural Dialogue, and Education though the innovative use of Alternative Media.

While our flagship initiative, The Virtual Dinner Guest Project, encompasses all of these core principles, we plan to expand the range of sponsored programs to include other multimedia, filmmaking, print, and audio-focused programming. We believe that it’s time to put the narrative back in the hands of the people, and to create a global network of local actors, united by dialogue and creative collaboration across political boundaries and cultural differences.
