OSnap! Time-Lapse & Stop Motion

  1. I used my iPhone 5 and a time lapse camera app called OSnap to capture two days of activity on the beach in Puerto Penasco, Mexico (AKA Rocky Point). Watch for the orange kayak after the night shot (that is me and my husband, David). Looks like we almost go ran over out in the water! Also, at the end, there are some strange shadows moving in the water from right to left. We have no idea what that was. Maybe a school of rays?

  4. Here's a time lapse video of my family, shot with a 1/4 second interval using an iPhone 4S and the OSnap! application. The music was made in about 30 minutes using EnergyXT, a few physical modeling synths, and a compressor. I didn't quantize or edit any of the notes, and recorded the non-looped synth lead in just one take, so it's kinda rough-sounding, but the song ends *exactly* when the video ends, and that makes me happy.
