The final look back at 11 years ago today and after the greatest day of our lives had come to a close and everyone was delivered safely back to their hotels, we called it a night. But, you can't have a Boston wedding with out some how incorporating the Boston Red Sox. So, the next day, along with several of our friends and family, we headed over to Fenway Park and took in a Boston Red Sox game. And to our great surprise, they congratulated Renee and I on our wedding the day. What a awesome moment! Then a couple days to recover and we were off to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for our official Honeymoon. It was a great way to cap off an absolutely amazing week of wedding festivities and wedding day. Always, love looking back at reliving all of those great memories!
While Renee and I, along with the bridal parties and close family and friends, made our way from downtown Boston to our Reception. The rest of our wedding guests, were enjoying Boston Police escorted bus rides from the church to the Reception. We didn't know, until after we got to the reception, that a close friend of the family had arranged for our wedding guests to have non-stop Boston Police Escorts to get them through traffic to the reception. Upon arrival at the reception, guests got a taste of a real Italian Wedding Cocktail Party. I would have loved being a guest at our wedding! :)
The ceremony is was awesome, especially the fact that we were able to be married in one of the most historic churches in the USA. Our wedding party signed the 200 year old historic register of all couples that have ever been married there. Then to just think, that was the church where Paul Revere hung the lanterns to warn the British were coming. It was a great experience, but everyone was ready for what was planned after the ceremony and anxious to head to the Reception.
