My first day shooting at Occupy Wall Street and I found it peacefully optimistic.
Everyone knows the 99% has a lot of concerns and if everyone who is concerned comes and joins the movement, then change will happen. But you have to come down to march the march and "Occupy Wall Street." It is happening!
The 99% are of different age, nationality. and profession, but we peacefully marched together to the Chase Manhattan Bank's corporate office, chanting
"They got bailed out, we got sold out." Yet we are the
99 % who paid for their bailout with borrowed money from China.
The police acted toward the protestors as if they were the ones who gambled, stole, and lost the money. The police are part of the 99%, but act as if they are the 1%.
Loopholes and lobbyists have too much power over our government.
On November 5th, Occupy Wall Street wants you to
take your money out of the big banks. These banks gambled with our money, misused our money, and then profited from the TARP bailout - - again our money.
OWS suggest moving your money into small community banks, local banks, and credit unions because these are the banks that support your community.
The 99% makes a difference; move your money on November 5th.
