Secret Broadcast Redux features all new music by famed British producer Howie B. and seminal Electronica forefather Meat Beat Manifesto. Also featured are new Dubstep heavyweight, Dub Gabriel, and new voices of techno and dubtronic, including [a]pendics shuffle, Polycubist, Gys, Dubloner, Allon Beausoleil, Pistel, 8FM, Not Breathing, Auditory Sculpture, and Premature Wig. Available on Itunes, Beatport and other digital download outlets.

Inspired by listening to pirate radio in Europe, the Pander Bros.’ first national release of dubbed out electronic music was the CD titled, “Secret Broadcast: Pirate Radio USA”, which was described as an “unsettling collection” by Magnet and given a “Thumbs Up” by SPIN Magazine. The late 90's soundtrack to the flagship book of Oni Press was a shout out to “Pirate Radio” at a time when the FCC was busting micro-broadcasters for risking prosecution to play music not being heard on mainstream radio. The Pander Bros. had helped spur the DJ and Electronica scene in their native town, Portland Oregon, throughout the 90s, with their Secret Broadcast parties in connection with Subterradio – a pirate station in the heart of the city that played labels, Ninja Tune, MoWax, Om Lounge, and many more. The Panders created a comic and CD soundtrack companion of national Electronica acts - the first of its kind out of the rock centric town of Portland. Subterradio would vanish and the battle of the bandwidth would be rendered moot by the advent of web radio. What it left in its wake was the renegade spirit that had inspired a D.I.Y. movement for producers to make cutting edge music. Over a decade later and the entire digital landscape has become a new frontier for music, but the rebellious sound of the pirate broadcast remains loud and clear in Secret Broadcast Redux.

You can read the original tale of pirate radio rebellion, remastered for the 21st Century, as Toby, Gina and Carlos seek spiritual awakening through the frequency. Secret Broadcast digital comic part one, available FREE online at and
