  1. 16 October 2011 we held a solidarity concert for those that had been shot, injured and killed at a protest two years earlier at Bundu.

Dotan and Anthony flew over from Amsterdam
D’Prince (of Mohits) joined us from Lagos
Dickson (Shyn XL) was representing the waterfronts
Duncan Mighty brought all of Port Harcourt City

After the show we got together with Jeffery Daniel.

And our very own Prince, who has faced bullets and bulldozers working to make Port Harcourt a human city, sang his heart out.

All kinds of people live in the waterfronts of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Almost half a million people, a quarter of the city.

The state government threatened to destroy their homes and sent in bulldozers and soldiers. The government has made no promise to resettle anyone.

Now people have decided to develop the waterfronts in ways that work for them. People from across the city are coming together to transform Port Harcourt into a ‘human city.’ We are inviting the government to join us.

PEOPLE LIVE HERE invites you to join us, too.
