This is my freshman effort into a fully done short film with the 7d, and first major narrative piece I've directed. There are some rookie mistakes that we were unable to fix, but overall I'm really happy with how it turns out. We shot this in about six hours and used primarily the stock lens that came with the camera (working on getting more lenses). As the writer of this project as well, I wish I would have had more time to hone the script and create more powerful writing especially in the start, but you live and learn with practice.
I did some loose color correction with Magic Bullet Mojo, and in the future hope to put some better sound design underneath since ambient audio falls pretty flat.
The shoot was great to work on though, and I had a great crew there to support me, hope you enjoy!

Directed by Guillermo Martinez and Akin Bilgic. Our short for the 72 film project. It was an amazing experience and it would have been impossible to make it if it wasnt for all the people that decided to spend 72 hours, with little to no sleep, doing what we do best...making films. Thank you all for making this crazy idea possible
Note: We are still working with the composers on the original score of Photo Ops. The music in the short is just the "scratch track" . It is from the motion picture Inception which was composed by Hans Zimmer
