David Segers aka Maddave has done it again! Podium at the MINI SX Recetto Italia.

At the last moment a bike was built by Geecobikes(Belgium) and they are rewarded for their work,
Marco Duerinck (roversberg productions) went along to video report it.

Geecobikes comment:

Thanks to everyone, Buccimoto Bucci, Doma, DT1, R & D (Lieven Vanderstraeten), Scratchidesign, RGS Rob Geboers Suspension,
Standing Construct (Tim Mathys), Marco Duerinck (Roversberg Productions).
With a big thank you to all Belgian pilots: David Segers, Ivo van den Berghe and Wesley Swinnen!
Everyone has done his best and we had a good time in a wet Italy.

David Segers comment:

The first free practice I had the fastest time,
2nd training the 4th time.
In the qualification started as 4th and after 1 lap  at position 2.
Then  my bearing of my rear wheel broke and the series was over!
so I had to  start last but I held it wide open.

What a race, if you can start from a 19th starting position to 12th place after the first corner and then a catch rate rides
to a 3rd place, just goosebumps. Very satisfied.

In pxon had our 3rd guy broke down so our podium chances were already misjudged but we were keen to put a good result down

I had the second start and put directly into the attack and came to the leadership.
I could manage a gap on the rest but halfway I went to the ground with a doubled.
In the next round, I fell because my front brake stuck, and so I came in 5th position.
the last lap came back to the third position and was disappointed that I had to give way to the victory!
But all in all, we can speak of a successful weekend and the hard work of geecobikes certainly paid off!
THANKS GEECOBIKES, SPONSORS and supporters
