    About this track:

Astytekk approached this piece as much as possible closer to the original style. lowering the tempo a bit, analog synthesizers routed THROUGH distortion pedals, and a 4/4 beat that nails the sequences. sense of busier.

Further the track is a reference to a remix that I heard for the first time in 99 in a trance party, from iconic Simon Postford (Hallucinogen)

    Strange Forces

Australian Band Strange Forces influences range from Spacerock to obscure New-Age Prophecies. It sounds like a black sanded beach below 20 suns. It’s mulitdimensional dark-surf, powered by Peyeote and driven by dark matter induced by their pineal gland.

  4. Video by Jeromie Dorrance, Remix by Kyle Warfield

    Jeromie Dorrance

As a video artist, animator and painter, Jeromie Dorrance creates richly textured video collages that give audiences something they have never experienced before. Inspired by both glitch art as well as abstract painting, Dorrance creates vibrant, melting, glitchy patterns and textures that dance around the frame juxtapozed with found footage from The Web. While the art form itself is innnovative, it is Dorrance's unique trans-stylistic visual language and appropriated imagery that renders the work vaguely familiar yet nontheless magical. Jeromie Dorrance is from Denver, Colorado USA. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Digital Art from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2011.

    Kyle Warfield

Kyle Warfield graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design with a BFA in Communication Design in 2011. He is currently a full-time designer at MATTER in Denver, Colorado. When he isn't absorbed in hand-lettering and typeface design, he is producing experimental sound collages under the moniker n3u3s! (pronounced "noise"). The material he samples consists entirely of recorded sounds from his daily experiences. Kyle's goal is to reorganize and synthesize the multitude of diverse sounds of his life to demonstrate how everything has the potential to be art.

  5. Video and Remix by Jeremy Rotsztain

Jeremy Rotsztain (b. 1977 Toronto, Canada) is a Portland, Oregon-based digital artist who, taking cues from the practice of painting, works with movies, images, and sound as a kind of malleable and expressive material. In his work, popular narratives, pixels, and sound bites are sampled, transformed, re-arranged and composed in an effort to examine the language and patterns of contemporary media and the shared cultural experiences that we have with them. As part of his practice, Jeremy writes custom software, enabling him to collect, edit, and compose with his materials in hybrid and unconventional ways.

—What is Plink Flojd?
Plink Flojd is a super audio/visual collective started by David Quiles Guilló with co-founders Yoshi Sodeoka and Eric Mast AKA E*Rock. We collaborate with artists from all over the World and premiered our first installment of videos at NOVA®, in São Paulo, Brazil, in the spring of 2012.

—The name sounds like Pink Floyd. Is this just another tribute project?
Not at all, it’s more than that. Although we were originally inspired by Pink Floyd, we take the homage to the next level and make a new art form. Some of our works show traces of the influences of Pink Floyd, some show none. Anything goes with Plink Flojd.

—Will you guys only be making videos?
Hopefully not. We are planning to expand. Some of the projects might surface as installations, live performances, conceptual art, etc. You name it. If the idea is right, we will do it.

—Who are the collaborators?
Akin, Andrew Benson, Peter Burr, Cristopher Cichocki, Theodore Darst, Jeromie Dorrance, Droid-ON, Manuel Fernández, Gusti Fink, Jason Forrest, Tony Halmos, Rollin Leonard, Sara Ludy, Shane McAdams, Rea McNamara, Jonathan McCabe, Austin Meredith, A.
