THE HIMALAYAN PROJECT - PART 2.

VD is back with the second chapter of the 'himalayan project', with his latest book he share with us a very contemplative and "musical" book showing us the strange beauty of trees in a place where a man cannot feels at home without notes of silence in between. VD show that a photobook is place to share pictures, but also emptiness and breathing by using unprinted pages as a driven force to encompass the mass driven load of images.

The 'Poets of landscape' is an alibi, a pretext to raise again the question of topography poetry and bring together this group of three photographers who are looking into the landscape with different approaches.

Whether they travel to the top of a high plateau in Nepal, wander for miles to teach us that our footsteps are the path and nothing more or just by encountering a simple pile of dirt, grown lush in the summer.

By doing so they are somehow going back to the essence of landscape poetry, by cutting into the real and carefully punctuating every move on a blank page.
Come and meet these three young photographers who in a contemporary way challenge a very old and traditional photography subject - the landscape.
