Team Manager and legendary shredder Barrett Christy took the girls snowboard team to Revelstoke resort last season for a week of interior BC pow. The area, previously only accessed by sleds, now has several lifts that offer access to peaks and bowls that provided endless entertainment to a crew with some pent-up freeriding energy. While we were working on Rome's third full length release "The Shred Remains" Marie had suggested using a Face To Face song for her part. I kind of didn't really give the song a full shot because I was convinced it had been used before. Next stop for Cheryl in the Open Air series is Finland - where she gets some help with Eero Ettala in finding the best rail spots in Helsinki. However this trip is cut short when Cheryl gets a call from Terje Haakonsen who wants her to compete in the Arctic Challenge in Oslo.

Into the Silverton backcountry.
In this episode Cheryl goes on her first backcountry trip of the season to Silverton, Colorado. Teamed with Kimmy Fasani and Hana Beaman the girls all push themselves and each other to new limits, landing tricks that have never been done before. Perfect conditions of blue skies and masses of fresh snow, the girls also head up to a mountain hut to find the best of the good stuff.
