This was a recording found on some old minidisc from 1999. I assume it was winter or thanksgiving because Carter was in from out of town. We went to go eat at Famous Anthony's on Williamson Road, it's in the parking lot of a strip mall with a post office in it. From what I can remember Jonathan was suppose to tell the waitress that she looked like Kelly from 90210. This didn't happen. So, he had a little chat outside with the meekest sweetest sounding lady on earth. We rode home in Carter's dad's giant grey caprice, laughing until we cried, Jonathan triumphantly exclaiming "THE KID'S STILL GOT IT!".
This is a recording I found on an old hard drive. It was most likely recorded using a logitech quickcam I had hooked up to the computer at the time. It features Jacob Clifton, who was living with us at the time, explaining an episode of either Veronica Mars or Gossip Girl or some other show he was writing about at the time. We were in the living room of a townhouse I used to own in Austin, Texas.
This is a recording from a T-mobile MDA I had in 2006. It's a clip of Tom Waits performing at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia. I went to the concert with Alan Poizner, it was an exciting few days running around Georgia.
