We visited with Gabe (dad) and Paul (son) on their farm and they took us to four different sites. Clearly they have taken diversity in cash crops and cover crops to the next level. We interview Paul here and in the last section, he discusses the process of "weaning" yourself of fertilizers and pesticides - they hardly use either - see for yourself.

This was part of a Soil Health Workshop in Sept 2010 put on by Bureigh Co., ND, NRCS and SWCD.

Ray Archuleta is passionate about soil health and his passion is infectious. Ray Styer has been doing soil health long before it as fashionable and he has a gift for thinking biologically rather than chemically. I created this channel to display some of the video I shot of Ray A. when he was a guest speaker at my Applied Aquatic Sciences class. As far as I am concerned, this should be mandatory viewing for anyone doing anything related to environmental sciences.
