  3. Quatorzième – dir. Jem Talbot

Shot in Oxford over a three-day period, and subject to the familiar no-budget constraints of the shorts industry, ‘Quatorzième’ is the product of a collective of arts students from a variety of mediums. Written and directed by first time director Jem Talbot, the short plots the afternoon of one man, Felix, as he answers the phone, gets dressed, and leaves the house. Whether subject to his own self-prophesying fate or just a pawn of serendipity, Felix’s innocuous afternoon soon takes a turn.
