Outdated Short vid on how you can get Big Kittel at Logos (now has some new name I don't remember) as a standalone lexicon, for only $200 (versus the $500 multivolume hardback at Amazon and elsewhere). I bought that one, and regret it, because the Logos interface is intrusive, robs you of privacy, and it's clunky.

There are other vendors of Big Kittel in software. Example, Accordance (if you already have Accordance, this is an add-on, not standalone): accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=TDNT%20Complete .

You can also get earlier hardback versions (which are sometimes better) on Ebay, here: ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_dmd=2&_nkw=theological+dictionary+of+the+new+testament&_sop=16 . I just got one full set for under fifty bucks, woo-hoo!

Logos has a horrible Libronix special keyboard you must enable to search. That alone requires one get the hardback. Faster to search on paper!

Another good deal (and maybe better, if you lack most of these materials), is here: compubible.com/proddetail.php?prod=BSA5 . I just got confirmation that it's a standalone package, so you don't need a 'starter' base to launch it. I might buy this one too, since the program's OWN fonts are installed (seem like polytonic Greek Unicode or Gentium, scholar standards).

Hardback is also sometimes available in Amazon, but is cheaper here: christianbook.com/Christian/Books/easy_find/1391669490?Ntt=theological+dictionary+of+the+new+testament&N=0&Ntk=keywords&action=Search&Ne=0&event=ESRCS&nav_search=1&cms=1&show_cms=1

File Name: BigKittle.avi, 2/1/11.

Collection of secular as well as Bible research tips and tricks and research aids I've found. Includes helpful secular or Bible weblinks, book reviews and computer-related stuff, as applicable. My Text Crit playlist of useful TC resources, is here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2B1F4FB49407E364 . How to use BibleWorks 8 (9 is almost identical), is here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PL941FC149728AE36D . The BW playlist includes vids BY the BibleWorks people, who have their own Youtube channel. Finally, I did some preliminary vids on theWord software (which is free), here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1bv_xPIih3fm5n3j3LzHJR0CQ7jroJov . I need to redo those vids when I figure out how to obviate mouse-hook problems during onscreen recording.
