The star of a movie goes to a local theater to watch his performance. He soon discovers that not all of the audience admires his acting as much as he does.
I restored one of my favorite silent short films starring my relative, Mack Swain. This film, like most silent films of the ear, was not exhibited silent. Rather, there would have been a band or orchestra in the theater that would have provided the scoring and sound effects. However, the only version I could find of this film online was completely silent, with no original titles and appeared to have been transferred from a VHS. So I rebuilt the titles based on the traditional Keystone Studios style, removed as much of the digital artifacts that I could, adjusted the color, and provided the scoring and foley. Enjoy!
