+ More

Rodeph Sholom School is a prominent New York City independent school distinguished by academic excellence and enriched with Reform Jewish values. Our mission is to foster intellectual curiosity through a challenging independent school academic program in nursery through eighth grade. At the heart of RSS is a warm, vibrant community, where students are guided by Jewish knowledge, values, and ethics to become self-confident and socially responsible leaders.
RSS, affiliated with Congregation Rodeph Sholom, provides students with a unique learning environment, central to which are three critical components: the N-8 structure; challenging academics; and integrated secular and Judaic studies. Each facet allows students to learn important academic content while simultaneously internalizing core Reform Jewish values.
