Tim Dornan is Professor of Medical Education at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, Honorary Professor at the University of Manchester, Honorary Visiting Professor at Peninsula Medical School, UK, a member of the Centre for Health Education Scholarship in the University of British Columbia, Ca, and a UK National Teaching Fellow.
He now works solely as an education researcher. He headed Manchester's medical education research group until his move to Maastricht in 2009. His interests include clinical workplace learning, sociocultural theory, qualitative research, and bibliographic methodology.
Professor Dornan will be delivering a Keynote address at the Remote Medical Education Conference in Brisbane on June 28-29. As a lead up to the conference Professor Dornan gave a short interview about his research and upcoming address.
