  5. Community Connected is a digital outreach project. Part of our work is to address digital exclusion.
    This video highlights some of our recent successes in basic internet and email usage, free computer repair workshop service and our PC plus refurbished computer scheme.

    The footage and sound recordings were created live at a number of our community training centres including:
    • Technology Thursday - Piper Hall 1-5pm every second Thursday of the month
    • The Big Feast - St Peter's Church Norbition 12- 2pm every Wednesday - drop in for homeless people - all welcome
    • Kingston Carers UK Online internet and email project - ended March 2013
    • Pride of Place - digital storytelling project March 2013
    Community Connected is a UK online centre partner delivering online basics training via the Learnmyway website.

    The organisation holds certification as an official Microsoft Refurbisher and the majority of our volunteers are CompTIA plus accredited.

    Our future plans include extending our work to include support of online benefits access, registration and applications in conjunction with local advice agencies and other stakeholders.
