quick demonstration of a new osc video patch i created to use during a monome performance as part of my video display; also another quick peek of me using the iphone app remokon to emulate/control my monome.
macbook pro is running quadrants, mlr, dj64, 64fingers, remokonmonitor(max5), and ableton live 7, and sending a lot of that info to macbook which is running jitter patches corresponding to the received osc messages
monome128 and nanoKontrol are connected to macbook pro via usb and connected to macbook via udp network for sending osc
i made a video to demonstrate how easy it can be to compile new musical material in just a matter of minutes with the use of some max msp patches (quadrants, mlr, dj64, 64fingers) and a monome. i record 5 drums and one piano riff into mlr and manipulate them all on the fly to create a whole new sound.
