1. Some fun experiments with audible color!

audible color ( is an audio-visual instrument. Sound is generated based on color detected by a camera. Red, green and blue correspond with certain music notes. When the colors are mixed, the resulting secondary colors produce different notes. The size of the colors influences the volume and frequency of the notes played. Color detection and sound generation were created and are controlled using Processing code.

  4. MIMPI is an experiment with abstract generative image and simple multiuser interactivity.
Everyone can have an influence on the image with tilting an iOS or Android device.
Sound by Lazyfish is also realtime synthesized and forms a whole with the image, receiving parameters via OSC.
Audience interaction with the installation becomes a kind of collective game or even meditation, depending on participants' mood and actions.

    First installation at MEL space.

  5. Here's a little showcase of some recent experiments with Cinder and iOS. I've been working on some updates to Cinder to better leverage the devices, including things like location, orientation, OpenGL ES2, and more. Here's the laundry list of what's happening here, not necessarily in chronological order:

    - OpenGL ES2 / GLSL
    - iOS port of Hai Nguyen's Fluids2d
    - Location services
    - Location based augmented reality
    - 3D drawing
    - OBJ loading
    - Multi-oscillator synthesis and FFT analysis
    - Data visualization
    - GLSL filters, vector morphing
    - Device orientation, accelerometer
    - Access both cameras, record video to camera roll
    - Localization
    - 2D UI engine
    - Multi-sampling

Music is "Dreams I Create" by Blackbird Blackbird.

Special thanks to Hai Nguyen for Fluids2D, Chris McKenzie for Pivot and Andrew Bell for Cinder and its SVG parser. :D
