1. 2015 Future of StoryTelling Summit Speaker: Glen Keane
Animator, The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast, and Duet
    Apply to attend:
Keane's VR painting is created in Tiltbrush:

Over nearly four decades at Disney, Glen Keane animated some the most compelling characters of our time: Ariel from The Little Mermaid, the titular beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Disney’s Tarzan, to name just a few. The son of cartoonist Bil Keane (The Family Circus), Glen learned early on the importance of holding onto your childhood creativity—and how art can powerfully convey emotion. Keane has spent his career embracing new tools, from digital environments to 3D animation to today’s virtual reality, which finally enables him to step into his drawings and wander freely through his imagination. At FoST, he'll explore how to tap into your own creativity, connecting to emotion and character more directly than ever before.

  2. VJ Suave has two audiovisual tricycles adapted with a projector, computer, speakers and
batteries. They’re used so that the small narratives with characters and poetry can travel open spaces, lighting the walls on a large scale. The projections illuminate walls, trees, lakes, sidewalks and propose a playful interactivity with the public.
With the video manipulated in real time, Suaveciclos bring art to all audiences and create unique moments between the city and the viewer.
In their playful universe, vjsuave deals with current themes with ambience sound accompanying the performance.
The project participated in film and music festivals in countries like Russia, Germany, Luxemburgo and Slovakia. In Brazil they travel to cities like Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and São Paulo.
    App used in workshop: Tagtool.

A conference, innovation lab and city-wide installations will present new ideas around a future Smart Nation, and transport visitors into the near future through art and design experiences. Objects and street furniture across the city come to life and chat to passersby, and smart sleep pods induce a dose of restorative sleep, as an antidote to the fast pace of ‘always on’ city living. 5. The public were invited to transform themselves into the Rolls-Royce's iconic ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ via a light particle
animation and video wall. Using cutting edge software, the dormant state of the angelic figure was
dynamically transformed into a live interactive performance as the visitor takes their place in front of the
screen. Amidst a shower of golden sparkles echoing the participant's silhouette, the Spirit of Ecstasy was
brought alive in a stunning real-time visual performance in which an interactive soundscape further enhanced
    the immersive experience.
