Crocodile diving. Banco Chinchorro holds the largest population of American crocodiles in the world. Then we went down to Playa del Carmen for the annual bull shark migration. We were joined by some amazing people who really made this trip special. This is part of my video blog series, "Notes from a Shark Junkies Journal." For more videos, please subscribe to my page.

I made this video to share the brutal reality of what is happening to our global shark populations. While the shark conservation movement is focused on shark finning, the reality of what sharks are facing is much bigger than that. Sharks have become a major food source in many third world countries. Their oil, skins and cartilage are sold to pharmaceutical, fashion and cosmetic companies globally. Teeth and jaws are sold in tourist shops around the world. Fins sold off for the soup fin industry. The demand for shark products is growing and sharks can not keep up with the fishing pressure put on them. I created this video as a call to action for people to please stop buying any and all shark products.
