We took our friends from Brazil out to Cat Island, Bahamas to swim with oceanic whitetips. These sharks are very hard to find and currently there are only two known places in the world where you can reliably find them. The Red Sea is one, and Bahamas is the other. A great pelagic shark trip is if you can get at least 2-3 good days of diving with the shark species you are looking for. Every Shark Diver hopes for just one day with hard to find species, but if you get 2 or 3...damn your trip was special. We got 5 for 5! We had 5 days in a row of oceanics. A perfect week. We spent 16 1/2 hours in the water with these sharks and everyone had an amazing time. I made this video for my friends, using music we were listening to on our adventure - which is why this music was chosen. Thanks again my friends... I am looking forward to our next adventure together...

Every year whale sharks migrate to the food rich waters that are just a few miles off the coast of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. For the past 6 seasons we have journeyed out there to document and enjoy this natural spectacle. Here is a short video that shows what it is like seeing these amazing animals, not only from the water but from the air. Footage is by Armando Gasse and Eli Martinez. I hope you enjoy...
Shark Diver - Eli Martinez

Filmed in the Bahamas, February 2011
I made this video to showcase my work with tiger sharks and lemon sharks. Two species that I have spent countless hours diving with and interacting with. These sharks are amazing animals, and I love and respect them. This video contains footage that shows me interacting with these sharks in one on one moments. Despite this looking easy and relaxed, it is only because I have been working with these same sharks for years, so I know them well. The tiger shark is a shark named Hook, and the lemon is a shark I named Taxi. The relationship is based on trust and respect, and I never forget that these are wild sharks, so I never get too comfortable. I always remember where I am, and what I am doing. So please watch this video as I hope it shows these amazing animals as they really are...beautiful, and intelligent, and amazing animals. Thank you for watching.

This is a video I put together for my boys to show their friends their first scuba diving/shark adventure. This was shot in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Tulum. It was an amazing adventure and one of my favorite moments in life. To see my sons when they saw their first shark, and to experience their first ocean dive was priceless.
