Short of the Week

A film by
Pedro and James

Castells is a film that looks into the art of human towers in Catalonia. It explores the characters and the communities that are part of this beautiful and mesmerising tradition.

Castells are seemingly a simple activity; people climb on top of each other to create the highest tower. However, under the surface they are a metaphor to how communities interact, everyone playing a role, sacrificing oneself for a greater common objective. They illustrate how being part of society is about participation and interaction.

    Billow - A Dance Film

I billowed in and out until no one could see me.
    it was too cold anyway,
where the land meets the sea.

    Hi There,

I created a short film about disorientation, transformation and self-perpetuation. In his performance Eric Cheung is visualizing the question of how to create new waves, get out of the current and even swim against it sometimes.
Feel free to check it out! I think it could fit very well in the channel :)
    Thank you

Each year the Inspirational Festival from Madrid invites different artists and directors to work on the promotional video for the event.
This time Mechi Lopez and Pablo Alfieri partner up and worked closely with an amazing new crew of Talents to create a visual journey that explores the future and embrace the strange. A first record where we seek the perfect combination of unusual materials, compelling behaviours and beautiful textures with the purpose to inspire as much as the INSPIRATIONAL FESTIVAL does, with their 6 different thematic auditoriums and more of 50 speakers from all around the world. The event will take place next April 8th of 2019 at the Circulo de Bellas Artes de Madrid.
    Thanks for watch!
