Two video loops of each 5:36 for projection on two adjacent walls.
On the left spheres of stone come out of the water and rise slowly until they vanish in the sky: birth of bodies. On the right spheres of water with fishes come down from the sky and fall slowly into the water: return to the origin.

The installation has been presented in November 2010 during the Reggio Film Festival in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in September 2011 during the festival A(r)t-trazioni in San Severo, Italy, and in September 2013 at the exhibition UTOPIA in San Severo.

Maria Korporal about her work:
I am conscious of the way humanity is destroying nature and accelerates climate chance in an unnatural way, which has dramatic consequences for the lives of creatures in our times and in the times which will come after us. However, I do not believe in catastrophes. It is my personal conviction that time is circular and that everything is destined to change and to be reborn: the eternal rebirth. This is a conviction which goes beyond the individual and appeals to a collective consciousness. I believe that life shall not be destroyed.
What we see in "The Spring of Eternal Rebirth" seems to repeat itself into infinity, but it is always different; like life, which dies and is always reborn.
