This the wedding of Cheryl Abana & Bradley Clement at The Dali Museum thedali.org/visit/venue-use/ . Cheryl and some of her bridesmaids from Oakland, which was neat for me being I was born & raised in San Jose in the other Bay Area. Bradley a local from Clearwater.
Its not often that I get to shoot venues in Tampa Bay that we have never shot at before. As well as The Dali, we started with the pre-ceremony shots at the new Opal Sands Resort opalsands.com/ in Clearwater. The bride and groom met together at work, at The Spotted Cat Music Club in New Orleans as bartenders. They were not looking for love, but after a couple of months they became inseparable. Chancey was the DJ. The Caters were Puff n Stuff puffnstuff.com/, always delicious food.
Micheria & Jaron met through a popular online dating website. After phone conversation, the met after a couple of weeks for their first date at Hula Bay, a popular South Tampa Restaurant. They were married at Tampa Bay Watch on April 1st, 2017. Photographed and Video by St Petersburg Photographers, Celebrations of Tampa Bay celebrationsoftampabay.com/photographers-st-petersburg/
A must see video!!! Very entertaining, a Romantic Comedy. Bride and Groom both actors. I thought I was filming "Ferris Bueller". Ironically Kyle proposed to Kristina at top of Willis Tower in Chicago on a glass step which overlooks the city 1,353 feet high. On the long version video we re-did the "art museum scene" in Ferris Bueller. Just a great couple, hilarious, had me & Joe laughing the whole day. Oh and Kyles Dance moves, you have to see towards end of video.
We used a new drone on this wedding. The X-Star Premium by Autel Robotics. autelrobotics.com/ . I rarely buy something when it first comes out, but we believe Autel Robotics is a big time "up and comer" in the drone world, so we purchased this drone as soon as it was available. We are very pleased with the picture quality. See our review here youtube.com/watch?v=UAtBw4AvLkQ.
A very emotional Wedding of Amanda & Zachary at Christ United Methodist Church in St Petersburg. This is the way vows were meant to be said. I love it when at the beginning Amanda tells Zachary "look at me". Too often we see bride and groom looking at minister or officiant during the vows. Amanda & Zachary were totally focused on each other, Zachary's voice was quivering as he is saying his commitment to his beautiful bride. They were both a mess at the end of the vows; a colision of raw emotion.
Zach & Amanda met playing kickball in Sarasota. Amanda had just moved there for a job and made some new friends who were starting a team with the Sarasota League. Zack was back in Sarasota for a year in between graduate school and an internship. His aunt made him sign up since she had payed kickball before and enjoyed it. Since he signed up as a individual, he was randomly placed on a team, which happened to be the same one Amanda was on. After hanging out with friends on the team they began to date after a few months.
