Strasse is a group of Italian artists born in 2006. They make performances and videos which search for a shape and a direct language to communicate with the urban and public reality. Once they also had a real space – a house – casastrasse, but now they got back to act in the public field. Strasse try to use a performing language to reflect on every day life and urban life gestures. Strasse try to create moments, to work on possible visions that can retrain public spaces meanings. Strasse today is a production and research collective, investigating relationships between movement, urban space and video art.
