  3. Part of The Connected Series by Samsung. To view more of The Connected Series visit: connected-series.tumblr.com

We all have different starting points in life. Some of us come into the world swinging from the vines while others are born into quicksand. Samsung invited me to look back on my past that I have been so good at hiding all these years to show that even against all odds you can make your dreams come true.
To every person out there with huge dreams and huge obstacles, whether you are 12-years-old or 65, black, white, rich, poor, we are all fighting something and I hope this film can inspire even just one person to push through the thick fog and persevere. You are SO capable and you should just force it to happen no matter what the weight is on your shoulders and how hopeless it seems!

  4. From April until September the little trees and shrubs in our garden are doing their very best to produce the most delicious fruit.
In these months I've tried to film this proces.
Month by month you can see grow the apple (Malus), redcurrant (Ribes Rubrum), sweet cherry (Prunus Avium), blackcurrant (Ribes Nigrum), raspberry (Rubus Idaeus), blackberry (Rubus Moriferi), turning into Crême de Cassis, Blackberry Liqueur, Blackberry jam and jelly, Applejuice and delicious pastries.
    Bon appetit.

  5. I am convinced that mankind's most winning strategy is cooperation rather than fighting.
Education evolves towards sharing rather than competing nowadays, community of practice as a good working way is well known.
Chinese people say that if two people own a thing each and exchange it both will own one thing, but if two people share one idea both will own two ideas.
The meaning of "competition" too has changed since the original one, that comes from Latin: "competere" used to mean "come together" in its first conception.

Stream of consciousness is a narrative mode, or device, that seeks "to depict the multitudinous thoughts and feelings which pass through the mind. Another term for it is 'interior monologue'."
( J. A. Cuddon, A Dictionary of Literary Terms. (Harmondsworth, Penguin Books,1984), p.660-1).)
The term was coined by William James in 1890 in his The Principles of Psychology, and in 1918 May Sinclair first applied the term stream of consciousness, in a literary context, when discussing Dorothy Richardson's novels.

I have added "A matter of.....Patience. From Blossom to Titbit" to "Stream of consciousness" because it narrates the passing year with the best cinema and photography techniques, with still and moving images well mixed.
It concentrates on fruit plants and useful receipts fitting very well with traditional music.
