Setsuko, a 55-year-old single 'office lady' in Tokyo, is given a blonde wig and a new identity, “Lucy,” by her young and unconventional English teacher. Lucy awakens desires in Setsuko she never knew existed. When her teacher suddenly disappears, Setsuko must come to terms with what remains – herself.
The short has played in 70+ film festivals globally, and has won more than 30 awards, including at Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, and Chicago.
