Jessica tells us about Turn Up The Good, which is a new kind of concert at Ferris that has Dubstep and more electronic types of music that will be here on April 4th. Avery said she’s never been to into Dubstep but loves going to the concerts. So everyone should really think about going!
Speaking of music…Ferris Out Loud has a new segment called Song of the Week. Each person picked a song that they love right now. Another new segment Ferris Out Loud is doing; Bulldog Bites. Pretty much each person gets 10 seconds to rant.
For the past 30 years Ferris State has been offering the Bachelors of Science in Television and Digital Media Production. In this program students get hands on opportunities and experience like nothing else.
Students learn from all aspects of the television industry from remote production to studio experience in a new HD Studio. They also produce a student website that showcases their work.
Senior students produce a weekly show, Ferris Sports Update, aired on Fox 32 on Thursdays at 10:30 PM. Ferris Sports Update is broadcasted to all of northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
TDMP students will participate in a “real-world” experience with an internship after the senior sequence of courses.
