I shot the photos for this tiltshift-timelapse-project this summer between june and september 2011 with approximately 12.000 photos.
My intention was, to give you an overview of the most popular festivities at lake tegernsee during the summer.
Of course i haven´t had the chance (and the power) to visit all of them, but i can say i´ve caught the most important ones ;-)
As it was a one man project, i have to say this was educational but exhausting.
I had to climb on roofs of houses, in one case i had to place the camera just one metre away from a power supply line :-)
I had to ask owners of houses and hotels if i can enter their houses or balconies. One time i had to climb on a low-rise attic. it was hot like in a sauna there ;-)
Sometimes i was amused, sometimes i was rushed. But always i got rewarded with a nice view and good stories.
These are the festivities i´ve visited:
Seefest Rottach-Egern (12.7.2011)
Waldfest im Schmetterlingsgarten Tegernsee vor dem Bräustüberl (15. - 17.7.2011)
Seefest Tegernsee (4.8.2011)
Wallberger Waldfest in Enterrottach (14.8.2011)
Seefest Bad Wiessee (20.8.2011)
Rosstag Rottach-Egern (28.8.2011)
... furthermore the pure landscape photography on different days.
So, enjoy this short film and if you like it leave me a comment and a like! If you like it extraordinary you should think about visiting bavaria and the beautiful lake tegernsee. It´s worth it!
Special thanks to:
Mr. Josef Maier from "Hotel Maier zum Kirschner" for giving me permission to use of one room and the main-balcony of his hotel during the Rosstag in Rottach-Egern
Mr. Andreas Greither from "Hotel Der Westerhof" for giving permission to use the balcony of Seeperle in Rottach-Egern during the Seefest in Rottach-Egern
Mr. Josef Grieblinger from "boat rental Grieblinger"
for giving me permission to climb on top of the roof of his boat rental. i was very scared when i had to place my camera just one metre away from a power supply line :-)
Mrs. Margret Mannhardt from "Kramerladl" in Rottach-Egern for giving me permission to use her balcony during the Rosstag in Rottach-Egern
Mrs. Caroline Krauss from the Cafe "Seehaus Tegernsee" for giving me persmission to use the complete upper floor during the seefest tegernsee and for the free drink (Prosecco Aperol)
Trachtenverein D´Wallbergler e.V. for giving me permission to use the attic of their traditional club house.
I didn´t expect that the attic was only one metre high and the temperatur was around 60° Celsius there. So i had a free sauna too ;-)
