The Complete Painter is a new TV show for your local public television / how-to station in your area. The show not only teaches artists of all levels the latest in painting instruction, but we also visit many interesting people and places during our research in painting a new, exciting subject each week.
We also cover all aspects of the visual arts world, including the business of art for artists and collectors, behind-the-scenes material, and interviews with all those impacting the visual arts world. In addition, we learn about the lives of interesting people past and present, and about many fascinating subjects we will portray in paint. Because of all this, the show is often like a documentary and enjoyed by non-painters as well.
However, our original vision was to produce a hands-on, practical show that one could watch and learn all there is in painting as professionals do every day - it's YOUR personal fine arts degree, right from your own living room!
Jeffry makes it a priority to try and cater to as many painting styles and techniques as possible. But, he feels it's also best to invite guest instructors on to share and demonstrate their unique knowledge in painting.
In addition, since we use, and Jeffry often writes music for the show already, he also likes to promote musical artists by previewing their music during the shows! We even mix in video of performances when possible.
