Scott Brown

Since joining Gladney Center for Adoption in 1990, Scott has assumed the responsibilities for the organization, direction and control of the accounting department, physician contracting and relations, plant operations, purchasing, insurance, information systems, the security and telecommunication functions of the Center.

As Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the African Programs, his responsibilities include directing the African Adoption Programs for Gladney which is currently operating in Ethiopia and Rwanda.

Prior to that, Scott was Director of Finance for the Harris Methodist Affiliated Hospitals where his duties included the oversight of financial operations for six rural hospitals, physician office management, a physician billing service, and a mobile diagnostic imaging service.

Scott graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a BBA in Accounting. Scott and his wife, Monica, have Yordee – their 11 year old daughter born in Ethiopia. They also have two married children, five biological grandchildren and three (soon to be four) adopted grandchildren.
