I found a little inch worm in our kitchen today and thought it might interest Lucian. I took this little video of him eating his lunch with the little worm. He calls it a "nake" (since he can't quite say "s" yet. He offered it a cracker and I thought that was really awesome that he is sharing.
One of the many highlights of our cross-country road trip this summer (July 2008) was a visit to the Apple Store on Boylston Street in Boston, MA. Lucian was just learning how to navigate steps so the glass spiral staircase was a real treat! It was lots of fun watching him play with an iPod Touch.
I heard Lucian playing with AlphaBaby in his bedroom and decided to sneak up on him so I could capture it in action for you. This is one of the few applications I have loaded onto his Tangerine iMac. It's perfect for him and he is already learning keyboard skills at the age of two. He knows that the letter keys make a letter appear and that the other keys make photos and shapes appear. I recently updated his iPhoto album to include more pictures of family and friends since our road trip out east and he is learning how to say people's names. My side of the family and friends live very far away and this is a good way to keep Lucian up to date on what people look like so he recognizes them when we do get to see them on summer breaks.
