The Vertical Channel

Jens Kull

More and more video material is moving out of the acustomed 16:9 or 4:3 ratio. they are made to be watched and displayed vertically.

Video Art and experimental videos are probably the sectors where this swap is most commonly used.

+ More

More and more video material is moving out of the acustomed 16:9 or 4:3 ratio. they are made to be watched and displayed vertically.

Video Art and experimental videos are probably the sectors where this swap is most commonly used.
"The Vertical Channel" is dedicated to this small step of visual evolution. Any publication is welcome, as long as it is displayed vertically.

To upload a vertical video just process (rotate) it in a compositing tool with inverted height and width size.
E.g. if your video is 1920x1080 it will be 1080x1920.
Enjoy
