A mega train of North Wales kayakers paddling "Pont y Pair" in Betws y Coed. Also known as Chip Shop Drop, the rapid is paddleable only after heavy rainfall when the Afon Llugwy is carrying a good medium to high flow.
Filmed by Reinaldo Lombardi who just happened to be passing.
A collection of kayaking footage from our last year of uni boating with Aberystwyth University Canoe Club. We've pretty much tried to make a video that encapsulates all the fun we've had with the club over the year, and that there is so much variety to be had on Welsh white water...pending faff.
And the best thing? Only 6 out of the 25 kayakers in the video are leaving at the end of this year...absolutely cannot wait to see what everyone gets done next year!!
Big thanks to everyone who made it such an awesome time, there are too many of you to name.
We would also like to thank Outdoor Active who've got our club members kit for cheap as chips down at CIWW and Pyranha Kayaks for stocking out boathouse with 6 shiny boats after an epic NSR this year. I'd also like to thank Pyranha for sorting me out with such a beautifully colored boat!
