“Rhythm” was the theme of the annual ASO Young People’s Concert, and this video gave students a preview of the pieces they’d see at Symphony Hall with the help of Beat, an animated music note I voiced. A big, cinematic opening to grab their attention gave me a chance to flex some sound design muscle, and music edits featuring the multi-grammy winning ASO chorus gave it an award-winning start.
To raise awareness of rechargeable battery recycling, Call2Recyle set a goal to collect 1,000,000 pounds of them in a year. A movie trailer type score and hard hitting visuals brought the problem, and its solution, into sharp focus. It won both Davey and Telly Awards in the Public Service category.
This TV spot was done for the DVD release of the CN movie Re-Animated, which later became the series Out of Jimmy’s Head. I created a classic cartoon sound design and scored two VERY different tracks for a DVD extra on the behind-the-scenes production starring series villain Sonny Appleday.
A short animated video to introduce a green awareness line of toys to licensees gave an excellent opportunity to feature my writing, character voice and sound design skills. Winning awards and thrilling the client was the icing on the cake.
