This innovative series brings the world's history to life and makes it vibrant as we step back in time and get to know past generations through the food they ate and the recipes they prepared.

Chef Walter Staib, an award-winning internationally known chef with over four decades of experience and is a master of open hearth cookery. He also the owner of one of America's oldest and most historic restaurants, The City Tavern Restaurant in Philadelphia. He is well known by television viewers through guest appearances on popular TV series including Food Network's "Iron Chef" and "Best Things Ever Eaten", the "Today" show on NBC and the CBS "Saturday Early Show".

"A Taste of History®"'s first four seasons have been taped in some of the most significant historic locations here in the United States of America. Now, the series has gone global with new episodes shot and ready for delivery, in Guyana, Malaysia, South Africa, Berlin, St Lucia, Antigua, Turks Caicos, Bahamas and Jamaica and Japan. In addition, production has been completed on episodes taped in Japan at Kobe beef farm (very rare opportunity), Kyoto palace and includes a geisha ceremony.

The series airs Nationally here in the US on RLTV and has won 4 Emmy Awards (Director/Host), a telly Award and was nominated for a the James Beard Award for best field produced television series. We currently have a total of 65 shows in HD completed and ready for delivery.
