Totem Pole Playhouse - Vintage Super-8 Archive

Great color 8MM footage from the 1962 summer season. This footage is actually taken during a photo session at the final dress rehearsal. Also some great shots of Caledonia state park at the time, including Thaddeus Stevens Blacksmith shop, the old Log Cabin Inn and Route 30.
Shows on this reel: A THURBER CARNIVAL dress rehearsal, STICKEY WICKET, and great footage from Bill Putch's 100th production of UNDER THE YUM YUM TREE, plus great aftershow party footage. Tommy award winners Ted Graeber and Jean Stapleton are feted at Betty Knepper's Caledonia Cottage. And finally, OKLAHOMA. This musical was so popular that Director Bill Putch decided to revive it whenever he could. The next production would not happen until 1980. Look for that version amongst these videos. In this cast: Tom McKenna, Jean Stapleton, Richard Mazza.
