One of my favourite sushi den's in Cape Town; when I was living in Green Point, was Willoughby & Co at the Waterfront. Michael is a good friend of mine and we had been talking about an extreme sushi platter he had convinced his boss to let him create. I thought this was perfect timing as I had just received a new HD camera that I wanted to test and he wanted some images for the restaurant. I was very very happy with the little video that came out of this test and can say that it has since inspired my filmmaking direction and was one of my first video's under the TOUCH FOOD adventure. Oh and it was soooooo delicious to sample all these tastes... once the photo shoot was in the bag.
Another test with the canon HF10, I just love the Biscuit Mill, Saturdays in Cape Town always start so well!!!
If you get a chance pop on down and sample the delicious flavours of the market, my favourites, hmmm difficult... oysters, piadina, rump steak roll, bloody mary, bubbles, good friends, a birthday party or two.

PS: I will get the HD version online as soon as I can get the file from South Africa.
I love street food, and you can't meet two more down to earth chef's who are working towards sustainable cuisine for all. So go on down and support them, taste their yummy food, have a chat, find out about the farms and the produce.
So in order to celebrate how I felt about their concept I just had to make a little film to help them along their way, please share this and I welcome feedback at @touchfood on twitter.
