Inspired by journeys of self discovery, Joshua Tree Dreamtime is a feeling I wanted to capture, a feeling of wonder and affinity I get when encountering evidence of past cultures whom once lived amongst this vast California desert landscape. This improv performance was recorded under the overhang of a giant rock named "Split Rock", one of Joshua Tree's Icons and a shelter for the ancient people of this sacred land.
Accompanying my Didgeridoo and HAIP tank drum are the sounds of a crystal singing bowl and a Native American drum, both also recorded at this beautiful location. Special thanks to my friends and Joshua Tree residents, Paula and Kurosh for their hospitality and sharing with us local knowledge of the Joshua Tree National Park and to my good friend Tim Flood for the wonderful audio mix.
This trance/meditation didgeridoo solo and all the accompanying natural sounds were recorded at the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington alongside the waters edge at Forlorn Lakes Campground. Cinematographer Lance Page captures the beauty of the lake and the freestyle didgeridoo performance of his brother Troy Page. Audio mix by Tim Flood.
I recored this track deep inside the Baja California, Mexican outback during a week long camp/surf trip with friends. One night while sitting around the fire with my newly acquired HAPI tank drum (E-Akebono) I came up with this jam. The sound accompanied by my didgeridoo (B) matched the feeling of peace, relaxation and freedom that I get while spending time on the wildlife rich desert coastlines of Baja. This song is a tribute of love, for Baja.
Audio mix by Tim Flood.

This performance was recorded in a lava rock field near the beach on the west facing side of the Hawaiian Island I was raised on, and is inspired by the Big Island's raw rugged lava rock coastline. Big thank you to my brother Lance Page for his creative cinematography and to my bro Tim Flood for such an excellent sound mix. Aloha!
The beautiful song of desert birds in the frigid winter morning air durning a camping trip to the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park inspired me to shoot this video. Ever since I began playing the didgeridoo, meditation has become an important part of my life. Focusing on my breath and the sound of the instrument helps free my mind. I invite you to meditate with me in the vast natural Anza-Borrego Desert landscape of California. Best for picture & sound in HD/fullscreen.
