back in the eighties we shot this art school film...about a post-apocalyptic tribe known as the mudmen...i realized that way too many of these folks were now deceased...or not doing well...and that one of them was tragically responsible for the death of another one of our art school friends. This short film is about Zeke, his acting career, his punk band Pigeon Kill and his art.
The first three-quarters of the video component of an installation project called Spiralling In Sanity. This piece recently showed at the Art Gallery of Peterborough and will be featured in an upcoming exhibition at Zajezdnia Gallery at Maria Curie University, Lublin, Poland.
Images from a British expatriot and from a flight across the prairies in the dead of winter. The falls are Victoria in Africa on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The street scenes are from Zanzibar, probably in the thirties or forties.
