This film, captured over two weeks in November 2010 by a group of Danish planning students, it is a part of a research experiment on how to use film as a method of urban development.
The film uses a strongly subjective narrative, with no aim
to point out answers to the challenges Detroit is currently facing.
However we hope our methodology can inspire planners
to include new perspectives from everyday life in their work: creating future cities.
You can watch the film in full length or see the different chapters on this channel. VIEWS OF DETROIT - exploring film in urban planning
We captured a full round with the light rail system of Detroit "The People Mover".
We challenge musicians to download the film and ad their own soundtrack to it. We will gather the work at the People Mover channel:
THE PEOPLE MOVER - DETROIT

Materialet er optaget over 14 dages feltarbejde i Detroit november 2010.
Filmen er spundet over fire forskellige koncepter, der i denne film er sat sammen over flere forskellige kapitler.
